If you don’t drink coffee, why would you hate Starbucks?General wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025 18:23 pmI hate Starbucks and don’t drink coffee but other than that, spot on knuckle dragger. Cry more little baby. Maybe you should stomp your feet and hold your breathe until they fire a man from his job.
You’re probably one of the Karen’s who demand a Starbucks barista be fired b/c they didn’t use perfect penmanship when writing your name on the cup. Lol
And you’re clearly one of those where the barista could routinely pi** in it and you’d still come back every day with a smile on your face, ask for the same thing, and get laughed at on your way out drinking your pi** coffee.

Yeah, Bill is missing about a million paying customers. I'm sure no one cares about that either.

Re: They keep Oli and
For the 100th time. Oli had a bad roster and there was no way this team was going to be competitive. Plus, he did not hit, pitch nor take the field.
Yadi is a fan favorite, but what makes you think he would be a good manager...one year of managing in Puerto Rico?
If you are really not going to see any games because of the manager, then you're not a real fan. If you think anyone will miss you, you're also delusional.

Re: They keep Oli and
When I travel, our sales guy likes it and so we go there to hang out btw meetings. They smell, are often dirty (especially in NYC), and the food and non-coffee options are hot garbage. Plus, people I know who do appreciate good coffee describe it as sugared sludge. So that’s why.desertrat23 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025 18:34 pmIf you don’t drink coffee, why would you hate Starbucks?General wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025 18:23 pmI hate Starbucks and don’t drink coffee but other than that, spot on knuckle dragger. Sorry Bretto but my endorsement in this thread is probably a negative for your accurate post. Lol

Re: They keep Oli and
The argument that a manager doesn't pitch, hit, nor take the field, holds no water. If teams used that logic, no manager would ever be fired. Ever think that maybe some of the on field shortcomings may be due to poor coaching, poor preparation, and bad decisions?bretto12 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025 18:40 pm For the 100th time. It'd be nice if the team was good enough that it would be warranted to worry about who the manager is. Its not.JuanAgosto wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025 18:59 pmThe argument that a manager doesn't pitch, hit, nor take the field, holds no water. If teams used that logic, no manager would ever be fired. I think Oli was OK this year, but this was a flawed roster from the start. It's Bloom's team now. Let him build the team, and if Bloom thinks Oli is the man to execute that vision then he'll be extended. If not, he'll be gone after this season.

What’s funny too is many on here predicted this team to be at the very least above 500 and being able to compete for the central at the beginning of the year. Now the roster simply wasn’t good enough and it’s not olis fault

Re: They keep Oli and
I dont think this was all Bloom’s decision. Probably ok with oli managing next year knowing it's going to resemble the last three. Maybe DeWitt said let him finish the contract and then do what you want after 26.lordoffatness wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025 19:09 pmThis is the key part:JuanAgosto wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025 18:59 pmThe argument that a manager doesn't pitch, hit, nor take the field, holds no water.
