Nootbaar- Dodgers , I’ve said this almost all season. They seem to be a perfect fit as they need lh bats and an outfielder to replace Conforto.

Arenado- Angels, They need a third baseman and their owner likes big name players. Not Nolan’s top choice but he goes home and they can be competitive.

Gray- Braves, near home and they are looking to get back in playoffs next year.

Gorman- Rockies, They will try to unlock his power in a power hitters park.

These are the players I think have a good chance to be traded. Here are some that could be traded.

Jo Jo- Yankees, they need a good lh reliever and have lot of young pitching to deal.

Contreras- Boston or Brewers- Boston needs a first baseman and a rh bat. Brewers could use him too. I could easily see him waiving his NTC for either team

Donovan- I think they actually make him a long term offer. If he rejects it then he will be dealt
He fits on several teams. Yankees and Seattle have been after him for several years but they may have moved on. Seattle may still want him as Polonco and Suarez are free agents. Don’t rule out the Mets or even the Dodgers in a deal involving both Nootbaar and Donovan.

These will be the major names, some peripheral players are likely to be moved.i think they keep Walker and hope he finally gets it.

I too think Noot and Nado will be in the same package, and think that could be the Dodgers. Really depends on what they do with Muncey. He was injured a lot. Dodgers have some young starting pitching that could move, if all of their veterans are healthy.
Bad thing is a lot of those young guys were injured too. I still think that’s the play there.

Gorman, I think, will go home to Arizona.
I think JoJo stays, at least until trade deadline.
Contreras, if he’s moved, I can see him in San Diego. They don’t really like Arraez at 1st base, plus they could use more catching.
I agree Gray to Atlanta.
Walker won’t be traded. If he has a good Spring, he’ll be back in RF. If he doesn’t, he’ll be in Memphis.
Scott will be back in CF, but with a short leash! They like his speed and defense. They will have him work a lot on his bunting this off-season, I mean a lot! If you noticed, he bunted a lot the last couple of weeks, not very successfully either I might add! Victor needs to make better use of his speed and be more of a bunt and slap type hitter, not unlike his buddy he works out with who plays for Miami. He has the perfect guy to help get better at this.
Saggese won’t be traded , he's their right handed hitter for their lefty hitting infielders.

Keep in mind that Donovan beat Cardinals in arbitration and they usually trade those folks.

You didn’t mention Burleson. Is he heir apparent for first base.

Not really understanding the logic behind letting Walker and Gorman continue to get MLB at bats without showing they have adjusted first. Bloom and this team have no investment in either one financially. There was only instruction from Moz that they get playing time. I think Bloom unloads Gorman in a trade and Walker if not traded also will be spending his last option in AAA proving he can hit or finding a new groove.

Donovan - Even if he goes to Arbitration and wins again he is still cheaper than a long term deal. They stick him in RF or LF and call it his. You still get a .285+ hitter capable of 20HR's. he becomes a key 5 or 6 hole hitter. They work out a long term deal if he produces again once the lockout is over, however with him having less time before free agency they could do a deal next year.

Contreras - Traded because the team is high on Burleson who hits for better numbers and younger. He needs to have a permanent spot that makes sense.

Burleson - Takes over 1st. He will become a league average fielder or maybe even above average. Sign him to a 3 to 5 year deal and just let him hit. A good 5 or 6 hole hitter along with Donovan. Most likely a deal happens after lockout also.

Arenado - Traded

Gray - 50/50 being traded due to the lack of rotation guys and his willingness to stay if need be.

Wetherholt - Starts the year at 2B and becomes the 2 hole hitter.

Scott - Unless he shows he can hit he will be back in AAA quickly. The team has options in Church or other guys to get at bats,

Nootbar - Traded in a package with one of the other guys, most likely Arenado to sweeten a return. The team says they like him long term however he is injured too often, produces too little and the team needs to give a serviceable MLB ready player with Arenado to get anything in return without eating the whole contract.

Walker - AAA bound. He has to be. He cannot continue to be allowed to be a black hole in the lineup and allowed to fail so much. It helps no one least of all Walker.

Gorman - Traded. Too much time spent in AAA and the MLB team to not produce. I am sure he has at least a little value to a team like a Pittsburgh, Colorado or elsewhere.

Not bad. I’m with Donovan or JJ at third and second. Gives me a GG caliber infield which greatly assist the pitching. Also, which ever plays third, I may get a 20 home run hitting corner.

Herrera. I’m not hip to him catching. I like LF if he must play a position.

Bloom does feel there is a more realistic pathway to the veteran right-hander’s return to St. Louis next season.

That’s exactly what Mozeliak would do.

I hope Bloom gets rid of Gorman while keeping Walker in the minors unless/until he proves he can actually hit.
