In addition, Carbonneau and Jiricek were returned to juniors.
Additionally; Schueneman and Luff on waivers.
Feel free to correct me on this; but it looks like Dvorsky, Stenberg, Kaskimaki, Skinner, Loof and Ellis are the only prospects still with the team.
Edit: Looks like Lindstein also survived the first wave.

Someone said they thought today would be a big day of cuts due to juniors startin, or something to that effect. Was itSt in Mn? Whoever said it nailed it.
The top four prospects on our system are still up. Snuggy is already showing the confidence of a young vet and is on the team. Dvorsky, Lindstein and Stenberg are also in my top 4.
All of those are NHL scoring line forwards and Lindstein is going to be smooth as butter and get a lot of minutes in the AHL this year. Dvorsky I want to make the team. That's going to be a roster management juggle that whether Dvorsky is on the team Day 1 or not, he is imminent, this is happening well before Christmas.

Yeah, that was me. But it’s not like I’m Nostradamus or anything. I saw where the T-birds were going to open their camp tomorrow so clearly they would need players assigned there to do so.

I just realized Ellis needs to clear waivers to go down. That could be interesting.
Yeah juniors started their regular season about a week ago, so now is the time when most of those guys get sent down if they aren’t getting 9-game trials.
I was pleased with what I saw from Jiricek. Hopefully he puts together a good season for Brantford and can start getting some real time in the pros next year.

Sounds about right.
Also means Lucic hasn’t been released from his PTO yet either. I think Monty said something a couple days ago about him being expected back in practice on Monday.
Most of these guys will end up being sent down too but I think Dvorsky and Lucic still have a shot to steal a forward spot from one or both of Texier/Joseph. Maybe Stenberg as well but he seems like more of a longshot to me. Kaskimaki has been quieter in this camp than I expected if I’m being honest. But he’s still in this group that’s close to NHL ready.
Lindstein is quiet but efficient. He’s not going to make the team though. Skinner has looked good. He was good for Springfield last season too. Kessel better look over his shoulder as Skinner is right there with him IMO.
Glad but surprised Loof is still around. I hadn’t really noticed him. Has he really impressed that much?
Ellis obviously isn’t making the team either (unless there’s a late goalie injury) but he’s absolutely solid and needs an NHL shot sometime this season somehow.

I think Loof and Skinner are still up as the first call ups (LHD and RHD) if a dman gets hurt. But no, Loof has not stood out. Both he and Kaskimaki have been quiet this camp, but that probably isn't bad. No outstanding mistakes. But yes, Skinner has looked good.
Are we in danger of losing Ellis to waivers? That would not be good.
