Uniforms

Post by Kelledr »

As far as I am concerned, they can put those uniforms away in a trunk, lock it and throw away the key.

Anything in that Milwaukee Brewers calf poop yellow should be burned because somebody might pick the lock.

Awful unis. Burn 'em.

Who decided the school colors were black and yellow anyway?

The pocketbook managers.

I’ll take a win in these versus a loss in a classic Mizzou uniform.

For the record, someone tell me why they wore black for a few of their previous games (all at home) in that heat?

Also known as School Bus Yellow

Years ago (1980s?) in a nationally televised home game vs. Notre Dame, Mizzou's unis were that color, jersey and pants.
It looked hideous.

Yellow helmets in general and the script in particular need to be burned.

Just when you thought they had their [shirt] together on home uniforms they bring that out for homecoming no less.

Are those the only two options?

NOT doxing by any stretch but Mike Kurowski (Director of Athletic Equipment Operations) makes these decisions in consultation with coaches, staff and others.

Whatever color combinations and uniform designs they choose should include different uniform number and “Mizzou” lettering. It should match the current lettering used for the player names on the backs of the jerseys. Current lettering and matching numbers are too thick and looks disjointed in combination with player name lettering, not to mention the block M when used on the helmets.

The script helmets need to go. The whole thing doesn’t make sense. The branding on everything is Mizzou. So the “Missouri” script seems out of place. And it’s just a dumb look in general. In order to make Missouri fit the font becomes too small. If they want to incorporate some type of wording on the helmet they could probably do something decent with Mizzou
