Look at the bright side, Gorman went 2-4 to get that average up to .207, and Walker climbed to .216. Only Scott went down to .214, roBUST numbers for sure.

And some fans want all three back in the same lineup next season so we can see them suck again talk about gluttons for punishment at least Scott plays good defense and steals bases and it’s exciting when he manages to get on. Walker and Gorman are just all around garbage players

I don't understand why Scott get a pass. I'm okay with him on the roster, but not as a starter. The guy can't hit a lick, can't even bunt most of the time, has a poor arm and doesn't field ground balls particularly well. Yeah, he can go get it, but there's a lot of guys that can do that. No way he's an everyday player, he's Billy Hamilton 2.

Who else plays center? Church? He can’t hit or get on base either and he doesn’t steal bases like Scott can. At least Scott can field like I said. Gorman and walker hit or field or steal bases. It’s easier to find replacements for walker and Gorman than to find a centerfielder who can hit and field

That's why you are allowed to make trades and sign FA. Do you really want Scott as an everyday player? The guy can't hit a lick and you can't steal first. He has no arm and teams run on him without fear of ever being thrown out. How many runners did he throw out this year? I won't look it up but I would bet the number is very low. He can catch the ball if it'(poop) in the air, but grounders are an adventure. We've given Scott a year to prove what he can do and I'm not impressed. Could Church be worse? I don't want to give him a year to find out but I'd bet his numbers would be better than Scott's and his defense would be as good overall. JMHO

Do you have any idea what it would cost to get a great fielding and hitting center fielder? People are wanting to stick with Gorman and walker gormans had close to 1600 career plate appearances to show how much he sucks people should believe that but they would rather dump on Scott. Scott went from a -05 war to a 2.1 war raised his average up from .179 to .215 OBP from .219 to .306 and OPS from .502 to .600 I would give him a third season to see if he can raise it up by similar leaps. I’m not opposed to getting a better center fielder but you’re going to be giving up some top prospects to try and get it prospects the cardinals should be keeping

But when old Vic does his high stepping in the outfield on a catch it excites Chip and Gomer.
