Day to day for a rookie in preseason is different than a vet who has a secure spot.

I hope it's minimal if not it could lead to a delay in his '25 inaugural season.

Jimmy Snuggerud, a 2022 first-round pick, left with a lower-body injury after crashing into the boards. The good news is he was seem in the locker room after practice Wednesday and was moving around OK.

“He’s fine,” Blues coach Jim Montgomery said. “Anything serious has been eliminated and he’s day to day right now. Think of it as getting in a bad car accident, hit from behind, something like that, because he went hard into the boards.

“I went over and he was really out of breath. I’m like, ‘Are you out of breath or are you really hurt?’ And he couldn’t answer because he was so out of breath. Fortunately, that seems like what it was. You go in, he just can’t breathe and you’re just trying to find your air and you can’t

One of the articles said he just hit a rut. Don’t think there’s video of it but doesn’t sound like anyone hit him into the boards. He just hit a rut and fell into the boards himself.

Well, we know that it was Army who caused the injury. Bad, bad Army. But since Snuggerud is back for now, there's always the constant posts about Bolduc, so we have that to look forward to for the entire season.

Well, we know that it was Army who caused the injury. Bad, bad Army. But since Snuggerud is back for now, there's always the constant posts about Bolduc, so we have that to look forward to for the entire season.

If he takes on Hull's mentality of once he's over the blue line his first inclination should be to shoot the puck, Thomas will get him the puck pretty consistently.

I just hope Buch doesn't defer too much, he needs to be shooting every bit as much.
