Well that’s certainly a list…
I’d expect someone like Demidov to be on the list but they excluded anyone that’s played a single NHL game so that’s remove Demidov, Snuggerud, Buium etc. To me, it essentially renders the list meaningless. It’s an arbitrary line to make that doesn’t really add any value IMO. Simply excludes players for the sake of a meaningless list with meaningless parameters.
I love Desnoyers but him higher than Misa is certainly a choice..
Isaac Howard at 6 is simply insane. Quite talented but also very one-dimensional. I think he’s quite overrated. And this is a Canadian outlet that shows some pretty extreme Canadian bias. If Howard stays in TB or gets traded to an American team instead of the Oilers, I bet he’s not even mentioned.
Danny Nelson at 23…I like his defensive ability and think he’s going to be a fine bottom-6 player but 23rd best prospect under 23 in the entire league?? (that’s played 0 NHL games) I’m not sure I’d have him in the top-100.
But I guess just another example of how different these lists can be. It’s all based on perception and eye of the beholder.
