Died at 89.
A terrific actor, director and producer. Co-founder of the Sundance Resort and Institute, Sundance Film Festival.

I will be re-watching Sneakers soon in his honor... not his best film but probably my favorite (and also really underrated imo).

Really enjoyed his latter-day movie about the fellah whose sailing ship hull gets stove in by an errant floating shipping container, whereat he spends the rest of the film.... compensating.

For some reason RR always kind of bugged me, as I always picked up on a certain smugness or arrogance about him (got a very similar vibe from Rock Hudson, an entirely different kettle of fish). But then, you look at his life and accomplishments, and how can you say he was anything other than a first-rate mensch.

RIP, bro. You left a mark on the joint.
