It is okay to make plays like that, as long as they don't do something silly and try to give him credit in his WAR value.

It isn't like he hit a double instead of making an out.

He had to return to the plate to pick up his underwear.

Neither do I, but I’ll tell you something, in person he is just a shadow who he was. His throws are off, his angles are odd, his swings hapless. This is a guy who is not focused.

The Giants are using Beck similarly to how the Cardinals should use Pallante next year, IMHO.

Let him pitch multiple innings in relief as a piggy back starter.

Unfortunately, we don't have 5 better starters unless we add one, which seems unlikely.

1) Address the rotation.
2) Unload Noot.
...I know it is very popular, by some CT posters, to dump on Noot, but the other two OF'ers are worse that HE is. Noot has the highest BA of either of the other outfielders, and has more HR's than both of the others combined...

I can''t justify getting rid of Noot and keeping either Walker or Scott, unless you like the numbers they are putting up...
Walker could be going shortly also.
As for Scott he at least plays GG defense, has great speed, and is completing just his first full season.
Nootbaar never comes through in the clutch and he has the baseball IQ of a salad bar.
Enough of him.
If Walker flops you potentially have Burleson, Donovan, and potentially Herrera to cover Corner OF.
And I like the potential of Josh Baez.
Time to move on from the tease!

If they do try to make lehay a starter which I hope they don’t because I think he will be terrible as a starter then pallante can piggy back because they will have to manage lehays innings or he will hit a wall like liberatore

It might be something they are telling him to do to work on his bunting the rest of the season

I'd like to see him try some drag bunts
