Re: MIZZOU 3 SEC ANNUAL OPPONENTS RELEASED
No 'Bama-Georgia?
Me thinks this was deliberate to go easy on those 2.
Missouri gets a Big 12 reunion. Would have preferred an SEC original team.

Surprised we got AM instead of Vandy.
And disappointed the trip to Nashvegas will be every four years instead of two.
Also surprised Vandy and Ole Miss didn't keep their rivalry going along with LSU and Florida.

I had my money on SC too.
They didn't get any kind of break here with OK and A&M.
But I don't think big 12 anymore, thankfully.
Re: MIZZOU 3 SEC ANNUAL OPPONENTS RELEASED
Just to clarify these will only be in place from 2026-2029, then reset again. Sankey stated they may change the 3 teams to a completely new trio every 4 years, so people assuming teams will have “permanent” opponents may be surprised. This means Auburn and Bama may be fixed opponents this round, but may not be in the next round in 2030. Therefore, some of those opponents that people expect to be in place may get broken this round. We are hearing rumors in Knoxville, Bama may not be on their list for 2026-2029 and instead they may have Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky for this round.

Huh? It's already known that Bama got Tenner, MSU and Auburn. Everybody's trio is set for 26-29.rezero wrote: ↑22 Sep 2025 17:54 pm Just to clarify these will only be in place from 2026-2029, then reset again. And Tenner got Bama, UK and Vandy.

This is if you believe Low’s report which is not confirmed. He sent it out and then The Atheltic picked it up, then CBS picked it up from them, then…. It all started with Chris Low who was grubbing with teams assistant to the assistance type people to get his list. There is not one report that doesn’t original from Low and nothing official from SEC.icon wrote: ↑22 Sep 2025 18:38 pmHuh? It's already known that Bama got Tenner, MSU and Auburn. The only 4 rivals that are 100% since they were mentioned by Sankey himself were Alabama Auburn, Texas Oklahoma, Miss St and Ole Miss, and Mizzou and Arkansas.
I suspect they will have a few surprises to justify the whole “unveiling” show tomorrow.

OK, thanks. Everyone on SECrant is buying the report as golden. I just assumed it was true like every single poster there. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is questioning it. We shall see.rezero wrote: ↑22 Sep 2025 18:48 pmThis is if you believe Low’s report which is not confirmed. He sent it out and then The Atheltic picked it up, then CBS picked it up from them, then…. Re: MIZZOU 3 SEC ANNUAL OPPONENTS RELEASED
the oldest rivalry in the sec - meaning played the longest is auburn/georgia --- bama/tennessee isn't far behind
i agree they need to rotate some of the rivalry games every 3 yrs but i would guess Arky will stay on Mu's schedule indefinitely

Re: MIZZOU 3 SEC ANNUAL OPPONENTS RELEASED
these 9 game schedules are gonna be brutal -- i hope they decide against a conference championship game but i know the money they make from that will supercede --- if you win 11 games playing this schedule you will be a lock for a bye i would think --- 10 wins still might get a bye and will guarantee a spot --- 9 wins should have a 80% chance of a playoff spot and 8 wins maybe 20%.... pure carnage.
Re: MIZZOU 3 SEC ANNUAL OPPONENTS RELEASED
Same 3 as Arkansas.
Tennessee and Georgia seem to get the easiest 3.
