I deeply appreciate when a person can get their words around that big thing and he did. To get to a place of understanding this where it flows out unrehearsed is to get to a real place of understanding, and everyone listening to him now has belief and connection. It's a beautiful, gorgeous sports speech

Now all Rod has to do is figure out how to get his team to win more than 1 game in the Conference finals.

Most overrated coach in the NHL, in my opinion.

Really?
Get him an actual goalie and I bet his record would be better in the playoffs.

He's won a playoff round seven consecutive years and gotten his team to the final 8 or 4 for six of those seven years, the exception being the bubble in 2020 where they only won their opening round. That reflects the value of his coaching. The year they got swept by Florida it had to be maddening because they could have won all 4 of those games with their play and effort. They haven't broken through but the big picture is it is extremely difficult to be this consistent, especially bouncing back after disappointment and refusing to quit.

Overrated is an interesting word for a team with that level of success. They are one of the teams that do a lot with seemingly a little. i guess you could argue whether their system works in the playoffs or not. And maybe there isn't enough top end and hte margins are too small to win late when a team is really juiced and playing at the top of their game as well. But he has over .500 record in the playoffs. Most coaches don't get to say that. You would think it's just a matter of time with that kind of success.

Like people said about Maurice 3-4 years ago

The Blues have a coach who is an alcoholic who admitted to a damaging lifestyle.
Overrated?
Underrated?

How do you know? And how’s your math? You seem upset
Re: Not Berube-level intensity, but definitely worth the watch
How do you know he has not? My math is fine. The only thing I am upset about is your 100% negativity in the overwhelming number if bull[shirt] posts you make. Now, go slober all over your Petro pillow.
Actually, I am really not upset, just bored with your bull[shirt].
