PFFFF. Oshie is the cause of everything thats wrong with the shootout now. How many goals did our guys score last night in Dallas doing the slow stride dipsy doodle? And how many did the other team score driving the net with speed?
I have always said there should be a shot clock on them. X amount of seconds to release the shot, so it more resembles a hockey play.....like a defenseman is on your heels.

I agree. And they should have to remain in the middle of the ice between the faceoff circle dots. None of this weaving almost all the way to the boards.
I think we should let the players decide how they want the shootouts to go. Don't we have enough rules and restrictions in this world? Do we really need to micro manage the players on their way to the net? It's like 5 seconds of time.

Agree 2,112 percent!!!!!
A while back, Hull suggested shooters not wear helmets in shootouts so that fans can see their faces more. Interesting idea.
