Tigers up to 20 in AP, 19 in Coaches poll

And they have plenty of time to get ready for Bama after playing UMass next Saturday and then a bye week.

Ill-Annoy dropped to 23 in both polls. How they didn't drop out is a wonder.

I think we’re way better than this, but that’s the way it goes at this stage of the season. We’re heading in the right direction. We do have to fix the secondary if we’re going to be a championship team. Sounds like Drink is very aware and on it so I trust we’ll see a big improvement in the coming weeks.

We fix that, stop miscues that are allowing teams like KU and SC to hang around, and we’ll be well on our way.

The 'Bama game is HUGE. MU may have the best backfield in the country.

Yeah, and it would've been nice for Moore to use them on the possession before the clinching FG. 2nd down, a run by Pribula loses 2. 3rd down, an end around with Coleman loses 2. Those guys aren't tackle breakers.

It's very tough for teams to rise from a pre-season lack of appreciation by the phony pundits to a position of acceptance.

Mizzou deserves better, and how in the heck do you justify moving The Freaking Sooner up 4 spots with their cheating ways?

It just proves many of the voters do not watch the games.

Or they just don’t care.

Don't be a hypocrite Rod. You constantly provide myopic views of what happens in Mizzou games.

So, you either don't watch other games or like to single out the Tigers just for the sake of it

Coleman was a great play from a TD. The USC player made a great play. Can’t fault Moore for that. OTOH, it almost looked like Pribula’s carry was designed to center the ball for the FGA, which, given the kicker, I thought was odd.

But why run plays with bigger potential to lose yardage with a suspect kicker? And that's what an end around is. Runs with Roberts and/or Hardy were the calls there.

Surprised we didn't drop 2 spots for winning.

agree the playcalling on last drive was incredibly bad. typical of Eli when he was calling plays couple years ago, made zero sense when they can't stop your stud running backs.

ratings are made up of folks who don't watch the games except for the big brands. just keep winning and FIX that secondary as it's two years in a row where the safeties are clueless. where's JC? he was supposed to be the star back there.

overall what a game. love how they don't panic when behind but just keep attacking. still waiting for the go routes with Speedy. but he has become a terrific overall receiver so there is that.

That was a gritty win, the kind you want to see in a game 4 against a worthy opponent.

-9 rushing.

Normally I don't care so much but the shame of this ranking is when/if the Tigers lose it will put them further back than where they belong as it relates to the final 12.

Illini case in point....ranked low enough to still hang on even with that embarrassing beat down.
