Re: Preseason GDT: Blues vs Dallas 6PM CDT
Ellis played the 3rd period not Hofer.
Anyone trying to read anything into that game about how good either team is ... well good luck.
The Blues dressed 14 guys who won't play on opening night. Dallas' lineup didn't have any of their main guys. It was a glorified scrimmage amongst a mixture of Jr, Ahl and Nhl guys. Almost every hockey fan understands that ... except maybe one.

You're the one that thought Hofer played. Did you even watch the game? That's a key question.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 12:45 pmCan someone set up some orange cones around b..a...a? Somebody is insisting that the first preseason game is indicative of the season a team will have.

As a forum poster, I know that I've touched a nerve when SeattleBlue engages me. This is evidently a fight that he thinks that he can win for once.seattleblue wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 12:56 pm lol the conscience of a city doesn't even know who participated in the city's game
Good luck, SB.

Who was in goal for the Blues in the 3rd period? Seattle is a great poster. By the way seattle, Stancl had a pretty solid scrimmage yesterday morning. He is in the right place in the defensive zone on a consistent basis. Ends up breaking up a lot of plays because the puck finds him.

you're surprised that a regular member posts in the thread with other regulars. yeah I haven't engaged with you much lately. isn't that supposed to be ok, ebb and flow?
tbh I didn't even see your comment I just trust the posts on this page that observed you biffed it. you're a complete loser and failure what more is there to say

Notice that NO ONE has said that my key questions are not pertinent? Or misguided? Instead they focus on critiquing me!
What does that tell you? Hmmm..

It's sort of funny that I like Carbo for the reasons I do but yet Stancl is my favorite when his energy and mine aren't alike. More the way you can admire another person's demeanor even if it's not your own? You're seeing the reason I think of him as minimum 3LW, he's responsible, you can trust him out there because he's big and skilled enough and knows exactly what to do if he can get the puck on his stick, it is literally only execution of things I have seen him do a lot that he has to display as he advances in level. And execution of skating improvement which, you guys tell me, does he look slow in any way?b-a-a-a-rclay wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 13:07 pm Who was in goal for the Blues in the 3rd period? I didn't see your question. like I said I just saw them ragging on you for not knowing Hofer. which truly means you are pitiful no ifs ands or buts. you're an embarrassment too weak to own up to something this humiliating.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 13:17 pm Notice that NO ONE has said that my key questions are not pertinent? what's your inane little question, how many Kleenex can you fill up today?

Answer the question, Claire. Did you watch the game? Quit deflecting.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 13:03 pmAs a forum poster, I know that I've touched a nerve when SeattleBlue engages me. His skating hasn't been an issue. He has no trouble keeping up.seattleblue wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 13:19 pmIt's sort of funny that I like Carbo for the reasons I do but yet Stancl is my favorite when his energy and mine aren't alike. Honestly, people don't like to hear this but Dvorsky is the only top 15 prospect who has a speed issue out of the guys we talk about somewhat regularly. I will add that Dvorsky has been playing wing in practice and his skating isn't so noticeable because he doesn't have to skate so much to defend, but when he plays center (prospect tourney and last night) it's kind of noticeable. I'm a Dvorsky fan ... he's a finisher, great puck handler, and he has vision to make great passes. I'm just being honest about what could hold him back as far as becoming that center we are hoping for.

Re: Preseason GDT: Blues vs Dallas 6PM CDT
I'm aware of the Dvorsky aspect you're writing about – I haven't reached a place where I feel it's a problem. He's defensively responsible, where I am honing in on him is how well does he defend at the center position. He has shown the shot at every level, he does look like he's forcing it a little (shots blocked that he tried to force a bit). But I've noticed in the past players can settle in as camp extends, and how they finish is more important than how they start. If he's slow getting back in coverage I would be more concerned than is he burning it up on the rush. he may never be fast that way. he is methodically building his game it feels like to me. whereas carbo is like "I might just make it ma!" and is all energy alongside himb-a-a-a-rclay wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 13:33 pmHis skating hasn't been an issue.
