at this point I think they should not play Altmeyer in the 2nd. he's going to get hurt and then the season is over. I don't understand why Lunney refuses to acknowledge how bad our offensive line is and put together a game plan that schemes against that obvious weakness. Like, does he not watch game film of team after team being in our backfield on almost every play?

Luke ought to take the snap 25 yards back so at least he would have time to catch the ball. Horrible offensive line/ defensive team couldn't stop me-I am 79. I guess Paul Finebaum was the only one who was right when he said Illinois didn't belong in the top 40! This game set us back to the old days bringing memories of getting our (donkey) kicked was routine. It will also turn recruits away. It sure turned me off!

That is the most thorough whipping of a top ten team I can recall. At least when Nick Bell ran for 250 against #5 Illinois it wasn't this thorough a trouncing. Indiana sloughed off their terrible blown coverage and went back to work. They shut down Illinois' run game and Mendoza could do no wrong. Even the targeting call was proven right by replay. Not a terrible or malicious hit but in violation of the rules. I hope game planning is better for USC.
