Chances to add runs but base running blunders kill the innings. Bad decisions, base coaches, etc. It's hard to win games against great teams when you do not play fundamentally sound baseball. Pitching is decent enough so far but 2 runs will not be enough..

There are no "right" combos. That's the point. The talent isn't there

Not many with this roster, correct. But, for example, if you have a contact hitter such as Donovan at the plate with a full count, Nootbaar at first, and Scott at third, that play stands a better chance at working.
