Forget starting like we finished up - Army

Post by a smell of green grass »

Just as I predicted.... And now Army is telling you. Forget starting the regular season like we finished up. That was sentence number 1 or 2 in what he had to say.

Sentence 5 was forget about the 2023 1st rounders. We aren't seeing them anytime soon. They are not close to ready for the NHL. I would guess that they are closer to the Perunovich Train than they are to the NHL ice.

Army was just saying that you can't carry over momentum from one season to the next and I agree with that. Last season is over - you have to start again and find your groove. They players showed us their potential the 2nd half of last season. Hopefully it doesn't take them as long to get going this year.

What I love most about Army....

He says "What I tell the players all the time is to not expect last year's success....".

What he really means...
Hey Fans. Forget about last year's late win streak.
