I don’t like Oli but what are the other options? Half the roster sucks and are hitting below him.
Contreras out with a strained arm, so Burleson has to play 1B, while the Cardinals play short handed once again. How many games is that now over the season. A bunch!
My complaint is when they play short-headed.

McGreevy walks 2 and gives up a single but escapes.

Huge hole through the right side for Walker.

Cardinal pitchers pitch to contact so that when they realize they don’t have their stuff they nibble afraid to throw a strike.

Unfortunately huge hole in Walker’s bat!
Great minds, statman!

Don't believe I've ever seen a more pathetic hitter than Walker.

WORST HITTER I'VE EVER SEEN!

How do you whiff on a 92mph arrow-straight fastball RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE?!?!?!

Most college hitters could deposit that in the stands.

Oh wait, Church just batted. Quite a one-two punch.

He made an adjustment and quit trying to pull everything. He’s been a much better hitter for it.

He was probably one of the top 10 hitters in the NL during August. Sadly, he's reverted back to the Pages we know and expect.

Still miles better than Walker.

Crooks is a strike out machine...he's going to hit for Power, but he's going K an awful lot....this was known though

A starting RF needs to hit better than a .216 BA .
Bloom needs to make a change for 2026 and beyond.
