The Irony of ‘Beau Knows’
I wonder if there is much empathy out there in Mizzou Nation for Sam Horn and the irony of Beau Knows.
MLB and NFL star Bo Jackson’s catch phrase now used for Beau Pribula.
Sam should be the two sport star here at Mizzou.
What a big shame it all is and now the added sting of such incredible irony.
Sam Horn was a HS commit and helped (as all highly ranked qb’s do) attract and build a strong 2022 class.
He showed great loyalty to Mizzou as his stock rose.
He now has had minimal to no impact on the worst SEC baseball team and got his leg broke by one of the most illogical coaching decisions in memory.
And to ice the cake, same dude who stepped on campus 3 months ago for 1.5 million dollars gets the nickname of a 2 sport star.
This dude could be starting all over this league.

I really feel for Sam. He’s had a rough go of it and I hope things turn around for him. We should all be thankful for his continued support of Mizzou.

Sam could be? - even though he is always hurt?TheSolution wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025 22:44 pm I wonder if there is much empathy out there in Mizzou Nation for Sam Horn and the irony of Beau Knows.

I think the point is qb play has been underwhelming in the sec, definitely a few that have been overhyped.dugoutrex wrote: ↑16 Sep 2025 13:24 pmSam could be? - even though he is always hurt?TheSolution wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025 22:44 pm I wonder if there is much empathy out there in Mizzou Nation for Sam Horn and the irony of Beau Knows.

Even looking at his home school of Georgia.
The guy looks like he could be starting all over this league it’s all just such a shame for him.
The TJ was gonna happen bc of baseball but the Wildcat broken leg is not something you can say makes him not durable.
He probably picked the wrong school.
Worst baseball program and nothing has really worked out.

I get your frustration. I’ve been around competitive sports all my life, playing, coaching, organizing, and as a parent. One thing is true, pparticipate long enough and competitive sports will break your heart. It’s not always fair. It’s part of why it prepares you for life. Everyone should play a competitive sport at the highest level they can in their life, if for no other reason but to challenge yourself.TheSolution wrote: ↑16 Sep 2025 14:00 pmI think the point is qb play has been underwhelming in the sec, definitely a few that have been overhyped.dugoutrex wrote: ↑16 Sep 2025 13:24 pmSam could be? - even though he is always hurt?TheSolution wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025 22:44 pm I wonder if there is much empathy out there in Mizzou Nation for Sam Horn and the irony of Beau Knows.

No question Sam is good enough to play QB. This injury was extremely frustrating for him and his family I’m sure.
But, who knows if Mizzou was the wrong school. After all, his silver lining is he has a contract now to play professional baseball. If he makes it all the way, he may look back and be happy about how all this played out.

Gee whiz, just imagine the memories Barry Odom and Sam Horn could’ve made together. They probably would’ve been so dominant Mizzou would be an NFL team by now.

Yeah, veiled beneath all this sorrow for Sam Horn, he shows what this post is really about -- his adoration of Odom and his contempt for Drinkwitz.hangman wrote: ↑16 Sep 2025 14:28 pmYou're an idiot.TheSolution wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025 22:44 pm and got his leg broke by one of the most illogical coaching decisions in memory.

Re: The Irony of ‘Beau Knows’
Beau is his real first name.same dude who stepped on campus 3 months ago for 1.5 million dollars gets the nickname of a 2 sport star.
And it's spelled different than BO Jackson, whose real first name is Vincent.
