Re: Joshua Baez
He's looking pretty built. What's his height/weight compared to Scott/Church/Nootbaar?

Re: Joshua Baez
It sure would be nice to hit on ONE of these guys. I mean, the Cardinals did randomly get luck with Pujols and got a top 5 all time player, so maybe they used up their luck for 30 years on that one.

Re: Joshua Baez
I’ll settle for a Randy arozorena type of player that would be great an outfielder who doesn’t come up and completely [shirt] the bed. Of course I would be happier if he goes 20-50 in the majors lol

Yes and I understand he has played some CF in the minors.imadangman wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025 14:46 pmHe has that prototypical tall, athletic rightfielder build by the looks of it. Speed, power, arm.
I keep wondering if they are hanging on to Noot because he is the emergency CF???
Re: Joshua Baez
you won't play Baez in CF. There's better than him at the position.Cusecards wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025 18:12 pmYes and I understand he has played some CF in the minors.imadangman wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025 14:46 pmHe has that prototypical tall, athletic rightfielder build by the looks of it. Speed, power, arm.

Corner OF ....leave it at that.
Re: Joshua Baez
In earlier off-seasons, Joshua Baez might have been sent to the Arizona Fall League. Wonder why that opportunity wasn't given to him this year. Maybe Chaim Bloom & his guys figure the AFL would be of little value to Baez, that he's more developed than that. Change in philosophy, send players who are less experienced?
Anyway, he should be pencilled in for Memphis next season. He's a big guy who doesn't have to strain to pop a HR. Might be on the verge.

Maybe they have already decided what they think he is. Perhaps he should get some rest this offseason- we're going to need him.okcardfan wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025 19:02 pm In earlier off-seasons, Joshua Baez might have been sent to the Arizona Fall League. Re: Joshua Baez
My point was NOT that he would play CF on any type of basis but that he COULD in an emergency.craviduce wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025 18:17 pmyou won't play Baez in CF.
