Just curious if you have any insight on what has become of Bernal. 2nd half has been brutal. Does he have some obvious flaw? Slider low and away kind of thing??

I'm concerned about Quinn Mathews development this year. I don't think he will be ready for the majors early next year, if at all. Control is a big issue. If there is a flaw brought about because of minor injury, that needs to be worked out. He is so promising that we can't afford to let him struggle; needs to get right. Hope we have the support in place to help this kid.

maybe he's a .240 hitter with a little power potential, who had a great stretch from April to May? And we see what he's usually like?

Don't fret...he's a good leader...will eventually be a good hitter.

Agree. I've watched him a lot and the control is a major hurdle... but fixable.
