I said it in the moment too, but the amount of people upset over an announcer getting fired is truly wild. Who gives a (drat)? As long as it isn’t impacting negatively the product on the ice then seriously, who cares?

If they just like the announcer, or if they think the announcer has successfully added pleasure, knowledge, clarity, excitement, honesty or drama to the broadcast then some might give a drat.
