Agree. He’s going to be good. And with Chicago throwing the youngsters out there, he’s bound to get a lot of PP opportunities.

I’d consider Snuggerud a dark horse candidate as well but neither as a favorite.

The obvious favorite for the Calder would be Demidov but we’ll see.

Schaefer might stick in the NHL but I doubt he’d win the Calder at 18. A young 18 at that.

The Calder is more wide open this year than most IMO.
First practice today - he played at 180 last season and he's checking into camp today at 195... :o
Still pretty slight for a guy that’s 6’4” but he’ll get there.

I’ve always loved the fact Rinzel and Snuggerud played youth hockey together, played for Chaska HS together and then both again for the Gophers.

I was always paying attention rudy because he was with Sam and Moore...he always outshined everybody else on the team imo.
