Dude, no one is judging a career on one or two games. I get that you don't like it when folks get excited about a player, or acknowledge said player is good. But fans of a team tend to do that.

People seem to be ignoring that kU was pretty well-regarded before this game. I heard one pundit even saying they were a dark horse playoff team, and one of the three best teams in the Big 12. Their defense was supposed to be pretty good. Yet Mizzou put up well over 500 yards on them, even with the o-line still a work in progress. Pribula was either VERY good in this game, or the kU defense was vastly overrated. Note also in regard to the o-line not contributing as much as they should have to the offense...Hardy got over 100 yards, and NEARLY ALL OF THEM WERE YARDS AFTER CONTACT. So either Mizzou's skill players on offense are stupidly good, or kU really sucks in coverage and tackling.

Not that I'd ever pull for K-Peeeew, but this win could end up as a so-called good win by year's end if the Jayturds end up 8-4 or better.

Far too much stock is put into preseason and early season rankings before you can tell which teams are actually good, which are mediocre and which are bad. Look at Florida. Or maybe South Florida in reverse. Their D may be for real after holding Boise State to 7 and Florida to 16. Too many teams have played nobodies to date to judge them.

Time will tell, but I think KU is a good team who has a shot to win the Big 12. It’s wide open this year. This will wind up being looked at as a very good win by end of the season.

Maybe that’s my answer for how in the world, after we dominated them so thoroughly, we were still fighting for the game into the 4th quarter. They are well coached. They have enough talent to compete with us and personally I think we could be a playoff team if all goes well. KU is definitely a good team. We can all look back in early December and see if that’s true or not.
