Int'l Friendly: USA - 2 , Japan - 0

Post by todd-parker »

An entire nation steps back from the ledge.

Goals from Zendejas and Balogun and a shutout against a team ranked 17th by FIFA.

It's a friendly but still good to see the boys bring home a win.

It was a good win.

Really liked the formation.

The experimenting has to be OVER.

Please don't speak for our nation.

So Korea was a friendly too, but you were the only one over reacting.

The South Korea game was a problem.

As I have said, bring in the players that will represent the country in the World Cup from now on.

Todd Parker is following in Lothsor's footsteps by going out onto a ledge in a desperate attempt to gain attention.

Japan failed to score vs Mexico as well on Saturday.

Two U.S. goals were outstanding: Nice move by Arfsten to beat a defender and get the cross in, with an excellent finish by Zendejas; and a wonderful pass by CP10 to Balogun, who put it away far post.

It wasn't a goal, but the sequence and the shot by McGlynn that hit the crossbar was world class.
