He's 24 and not a rookie anymore...he's the 3rd highest paid Dman on the team AND playing for a fat payday after this season with the near 100% guarantee someone will offer sheet him if he's available.

On the other hand, maybe folks see a very talented but young player, and are excited to see how he continues to improve with the Blues. Maybe.

I doubt he passes Parayko or Fowler this season. Lets just hope he continues to grow and improve.

Last season the top team goals by defensemen were:
54 - Avs
51 - BJs
46 - Blues
46 - Kraken

If the Blues current group stays relatively healthy and Tucker-Mailloux stick they could lead the league.

Hard to find smilin touting a positive outlook for this team.

Brobergs start was unreal and then he got hurt and then played to a more normal but steady level of hockey for a player with his experience.

If disappointing, it had to do with his torrid start.

But anyway, "normal" is good in hockey terms.

I can't wait to watch Blues year 2 with this guy.

I realize Dmen usually dont peak till around 27 or so, but there’s so much untapped potential inside him that I feel like it’s just bursting at the seams and we’re going to be lucky witnesses to ten years of 50+ point seasons with +/-‘s of +15 and up, very good defense, and even a little snarl sometimes when the intensity ratchets up in the playoffs and tempers flare.
He'd better just stay out of that stuff.
