Funny how ku fans complained about the "SEC refs" favoring Mizzou. The reality was that they missed many calls favoring ku, many that were obvious had to be reviewed and changed. The last interception was the best, the ref had this pained look on his face as he confirmed it was an interception.

Overall, the crew had a good game, BUT the ones they missed were doozies! Honestly, I had no problem with the face mask call by the back referee. It looked like a face mask. What I did have a problem with was there were three officials closer who could/should have overruled it…as they did the two PI’s against KU (correct calls btw).

Their worst call was when Daniels went out of bounds not once, not twice, but THREE times and it wasn’t called. In fact, they weren’t going to review it. To make it even worse, even AFTER reviewing, they marked it where he went out last. But, yeah, suspend them for a misapplication of a rule that played little role in the outcome.

The "Face mask" did look like one until you watched the replay. Johnson was held in the end zone, no call forcing us to kick a field goal. You could see the defender hanging onto Marquis' jersey tail. Coleman was crashed into while the ball was in the air later in the game. Would have been a first down. Instead we had to punt.

Somebody had to keep them in the game.
