-Gorman:
Has upside due to his raw power but needs to find some consistency

Walker:
Best case could be a change of scenery

I’m shocked by the lack of replies from the OP. Seems like an opportunity to have that “baseball discussion” he craves.

He’ll only reply to the snark. For those who bothered to make a serious reply, the most you’ll get is “good point” or “good post”.

Considering how some are struggling as MLB hitters. The Cardinals just might want to hang on to Donovan and Burleson for a while. Donovan, Burleson, Contreras, Herrera, Winn and Wetherholt are the offensive nucleus going into next season.

Gorman and Walker need a change of scenery.

Mo has destroyed them.

Saggesse was never going to be the figment that CT tried to make him.

Saggese should be hitting much better than he is now. Obviously, he is going to need to make some adjustments to the way MLB pitchers are attacking him.

Gorman, Winn, Crooks, Saggese, Walker, and Scott were a combined 0-19 with 12 whiffs last night. The future looks bleak.

Substance and continuity are irrelevant. He’s got a quota to meet.

15 of 22 hitters have an OPS under .700
11 of 22 hitters have an OPS under .650
9 of 22 hitters have an OPS under .600

.283 .365 .449 .814 Iván Herrera
.278 .381 .417 .798 José Fermín
.286 .336 .456 .792 Alec Burleson
.254 .338 .448 .786 Willson Contreras
.279 .348 .402 .750 Brendan Donovan

.219 .314 .399 .712 Nolan Gorman
.241 .328 .380 .707 Lars Nootbaar

.235 .366 .324 .689 Luken Baker
.253 .310 .363 .673 Masyn Winn
.242 .273 .392 .665 Yohel Pozo
.235 .294 .366 .660 Nolan Arenado

.224 .270 .371 .641 Pedro Pagés
.224 .311 .309 .621 Victor Scott II

.242 .284 .314 .598 Thomas Saggese
.215 .269 .305 .574 Jordan Walker
.190 .271 .286 .557 Nathan Church
.235 .316 .235 .551 Michael Siani
.138 .194 .276 .469 José Barrero
.118 .167 .294 .461 Jimmy Crooks
.167 .167 .167 .333 César Prieto
.077 .200 .077 .277 Ryan Vilade
.103 .133 .138 .271 Garrett Hampson

Gorman is not on the list but is still a problem because he cannot field a skilled position.

There are five above average hitters on the team and one (Fermin) has barely played enough to fall below average.

I dont necessarily disagree, but just find it funny that just a few weeks ago you were overhyping saggese and now you want him traded.
