Good for Jax. Affleck built it into arguably the best alumni org in the league. Big shoes to fill but Jax should be great at it. Lots of super involved alumni here.

Thats the key. Glad they gave it to a lifer Blue. He's definitely got big shoes to fill as the alumni group is the heart of the Blues culture. There really is something in the note that gets the players attention when they are here and a lot of that has to be the differences in how they are treated by the alumni and as an alumni. Tons of respect has been built there.

In this role, Jackman will oversee all aspects of the Blues Alumni Association and charitable work, as well as serving as the group’s primary liaison with the Blues organization. He will also work to maintain the Blues Alumni as a resource for past players who wore the Blue Note to receive mental, physical, and wellness support, and to keep them involved with the Blues organization.
