South Carolina
Yes I am looking ahead.
Anyway, I saw some of this match up on the tube and their game with State was very underwhelming.......Sellers performance included. It happens....I am not selling them short..... but what do you guys take away from what you know of them this season rated now at #11?

Re: South Carolina
They are seriously overrated at No. 11. They're going to be knocked down several notches before season's end.dhsux wrote: ↑07 Sep 2025 20:15 pm Yes I am looking ahead.

They were being shut out by SC State yesterday until they scored 2 TDs right before the half, but not on offense. Blocked punt and a punt return. Beamer ball.

Re: South Carolina
Why don't we concern our self's with winning this Saturday, then we can talk about South Carolina.
Re: South Carolina
How about you can concern yourself with whatever you want and we can concern ourselves with whatever we want?odiecalodie wrote: ↑08 Sep 2025 00:18 am Why don't we concern our self's with winning this Saturday, then we can talk about South Carolina.
Re: South Carolina
I would have asked this question whether on our schedule or not.odiecalodie wrote: ↑08 Sep 2025 00:18 am Why don't we concern our self's with winning this Saturday, then we can talk about South Carolina.
Can we only talk about the teams we play next?

b/c nobody on this forum is a coach, player, or administrator, and has nothing to do with the outcome of the Louisiana game.odiecalodie wrote: ↑08 Sep 2025 00:18 am Why don't we concern our self's with winning this Saturday, then we can talk about South Carolina.

Re: South Carolina
I think their offense will be fine and will even out. Sellers will be making us want to pull our hair out with a handful of amazing escapes and runs/completions. He is a star.
IMO, their bigger issue is defense. They lost 7 starters to the NFL. That is a difficult turn around for the Georgia's and Alabama's who recruit and develop so well, much more so for a school like South Carolina. I expect to see their defense show some holes as they get into SEC play. Hopefully that is on full display at Faurot.

Re: South Carolina
Lookout youve upset one of the PIA guys who think they are monitors of thought. What are you British mind control idiots?
this is a discussion board and IMO this was a excellent post about a team going to play in couple weeks. Especially with all the preseason Hype on Sellers who was supposed to be this big thing but played ok in first game and in second against a cupcake sucked in first half. TY for information BTW, hadn't watched the highlights of that game yet.
So you guys who want to censor speech on here, go stick it. We can bring up anything we want but YOU don't have to read or comment about it. FREE SPEECH in this country.

Their defense is not very good. Had Va Tech's QB not shot himself in the foot multiple times that game would have been a lot more exciting.dhsux wrote: ↑07 Sep 2025 20:15 pm Yes I am looking ahead.

Re: South Carolina
Vanderbilt beat Va Tech much more handily. Just week 1 jitters for USC? Maybe but they play each other this weekend so we’ll learn more about both very soon.

The game will be at night.
Either 6 pm on ESPN or 630 on ABC.

Re: South Carolina
You guys are making it sound like South Carolina is a bottom feeder. Slow down a little bit. They’ll give Mizzou a good game. Hopefully, they beat Vanderbilt and gameday heads to COMO
Re: South Carolina
SC's OC is under fire in the other Columbia. Fans are upset with his handling of Sellers.
Re: South Carolina
SC had a lot of new pieces on O and especially lost a lot of draft picks on D. OFten last year D held fast in last half of season till O could get it going. In both their games Sellers was underwhelming and all the hype is misdirected.
IMO Vandy is going to lay the smackdown upon them and their QB is the consistantly real deal. There are a lot of good QB's in SEC this season so far he is in top half.
SC MU is usually a very competitive game. glad it's in the good Columbia this year. as is every SEC game really important for season. Have to get that secondary covering better as they were awful in first two games, open receivers all over the field. Accurate QB would have a field day with them right now.

Re: South Carolina
The 6 degrees of separation game is fun to play. That Vandy and SC play each other right after both play VT is good for us. Right now, Vandy looks significantly better than SC. But, they get to decide it on the field right away.
For our SOS, it would be better for SC to win since they’re highly ranked and they’re at home. Vandy unranked winning there would be viewed as a big upset, even though statistically and from the eye ball test appear better.
Sellers is definitely a wildcard. He’s a tough kid. Both teams have serious competitors at QB.
Right now, we look like a really bad matchup for SC.

SC will lose to Vandy this weekend... mark it down!
