Same Cardinals' lineup as last game
Saggese and Fermin switch defensive positions. Saggese is getting a good look. Wish he'd show more of the power he had in the minors.

Re: Same Cardinals' lineup as last game
With what's on the roster tonight
Who else would you start
Crooks needs to play most of the rest of the season
A decision needs to made about Pozo or Pages
Who do you keep
Is Herrera going to catch anymore
Church if he can't hit
Does we need to keep him og the 26 man roster next year
We have too many no hit guys on the roster

Finding consistent, competitive starting pitching for next season will be as important as anything for Bloom to get.Charles King wrote: ↑06 Sep 2025 14:05 pm

Agree that rotation will be the key focus for the offseason.
As for position players you have to sort through:
IF- Contreras/Arenado/Winn/Gorman/Saggese/
Donovan. Then you certainly include JJ.
Arenado dealt?
Gorman dealt/DH?
Donovan OF??
OF- Noot/Scott/Walker/Burleson/Church/Herrera. Donovan in LF?
Someone figures to get dealt
Catchers- Pages/Pozo/Crooks
Lots of questions but also lots of options. Buckle up!
