Chiefs sluggish on offense, O Line not looking very good. At the half down 13-6. Ouch.
However, that last second 59 yard field goal by Butker might have been the most impressive field goal I’ve ever seen (sorry Mevis). How they even got the field goal unit on the field in time (under 8 seconds?) is incredible but to then kick a 59 yarder with time expiring? Even more incredible. Butler maybe had a second to get in position to kick before they hiked the ball.

Mahomes is one of the greatest QB’s in history and the Chiefs have always surrounded him with enough firepower to create a dynasty and keep it going year after year.
This year might be the year the dynasty is over or at least in its way out. Chiefs just don’t look the same. Still good. Just not the same.

...That's my thinking too... Defense just didn't look like they used to. Chargers played almost a perfect game against the Chiefs, with Herbert being unreal with his passing in the game. LA going to be a tough opponent in the ConferenceArmchair QB wrote: ↑06 Sep 2025 10:01 am Mahomes is one of the greatest QB’s in history and the Chiefs have always surrounded him with enough firepower to create a dynasty and keep it going year after year.

With the shortened preseason schedule I suspect a lot of teams are going to look sluggish for the first week or two. Philly didn’t look that great either but managed a win only because Dallas couldn’t stop ME on the run.cbcloud wrote: ↑06 Sep 2025 19:52 pm...That's my thinking too...
