The hateful rivalry revisited. And Drink, his staff and the players know what it's all about. There is nothing friendly about this rivalry.

That aside, I'm looking forward to what the Tigers look like against them. The brightest light will shine on Pribula, of course, but other newcomers as well in Hardy and Coleman and, of course, the new kicker, Robert Meyer. And on the defense as a whole with Daniels the main target. But they have to contend with Pribula's dynamic dual threat as well.

I really don't know what to expect, a blowout by the Tigers or somewhat of a shootout? I doubt it will be a defensive battle. But we shall see soon enough.

The weather looks to be ideal -- 72 and partly cloudy at game time.

Playing the 6 degrees of separation game. Looks like Fresno State whipped Georgia Southern in their next game. GS last year was a bowl team, so not exactly a cupcake.

Good for KU’s SOS and good for Mizzou’s after we win today. Also means KU is probably pretty darn good.

It's a bit weird with the players so far removed from the rivalry but no question this is not some ordinary game.

Beat Kansas yes but for me it is secondary to what the win means for the quest for the play offs.
