Mozeliak and his obvious incompetence.
Flaherty and his youthful, dumb mouth.
All have contributed in one way or another to where this organization is today.
Revenue going down, because no one cares to watch the garbage they sell.
Miscue after miscue in both the free agent market, draft and farm system.
Why would anyone want to take their kids to this burning pile of garbage.
In short, it's a true dumpster fire.

I must confess I never paid much attention to Flaherty’s off the field comments/politics.Carp4Cy wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 16:09 pmJack has been gone for OVER 2 years. Clearly he isn't still the problem.Bully4you wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 05:29 am dEwitt with his cheap and unfettered loyalty.

Maybe it’s because I live well outside of St. Louis and don’t hear local talk radio?
Generally I couldn’t care less about a player’s off the field opinions!
I pay attention to performance, health, and how he fits in as a teammate.

Re: Cards Plight: I blame dEWitt, Mozeliak and Flaherty
I believe a lot of the minutia with Flaherty is due to failed expectations.
I for one predicted he would soon become one of top RH starters in the NL. In so doing the team would have a cost controlled anchor to the rotation freeing up money for either another productive bat or a number two type rotation piece.
After his breakout season that seemed to be the direction.
Then injury and all hell broke loose and he was never the pitcher here a lot of fans or the ballclub thought he was going to be.
Funny thing is if he had become the pitcher hoped for all the off field stuff probably never gets noticed.

Same. I liked him as a player. It’s not like he threw public fits on the field and disobeyed league rules of decorum like Kapernick.Cusecards wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 16:17 pmI must confess I never paid much attention to Flaherty’s off the field comments/politics.Carp4Cy wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 16:09 pmJack has been gone for OVER 2 years. He didn’t turn DET or LAD toxic. Both are successfully winning teams with him.

Freaking Flaherty is to blame for this 6-0 fiasco
