Hope you're right about the O-line. With an SEC quality line this team will be hard to beat.onemizzou wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 08:44 amI think people are in underestimating out offense. I hope it isn't but I see it more 30-24 with MU on top.
Keep Daniel's contained in the pocket is the key.

I would hope if the offense hadn't done as well last week we'd have the same amount of wait and see time.

I don't disagree with you 11.
I just get a kick out of people who panic over one game and something a reporter said.
Hell. We may not win another game. I seriously doubt that because I saw some awesome young studs wearing black and gold in that first game.
But, you never know. I mean look at the two injuries.
In the meantime, I'm going to remain optimistic.

Re: Prediction Thread KU / MU
My only concern going into the season was QB. It was just that I had no information about either QB. Now that I've seen the way Pribula throws the ball I have no more concerns. The oline was shakey last year and I see this oline as better than last year's at this point. They're not perfect but they're still very solid. Again, this could be a very special offense.11WSChamps wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 11:23 amI'd like to see a few more games first.onemizzou wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 08:44 amI think people are in underestimating out offense. The defense will be at least as good as last year and I think will be a little better. The LBs are going to be fearsome. Trotter may be an all SEC LB and will be a big factor in shutting down any run game.
Very high on this team and expecting it to show this weekend.

I believe the coaches had a game plan going into the portal to go after veteran depth and l believe that with a strong running game is going to make this group very successful.
Very encouraged at how Pribula did not hesitate finding his receivers.
Hate losing Craig and Horn of course.
Re: Prediction Thread KU / MU
Well I too am really liking the Hardy/Roberts dual threat. This is an element that defenses will have to consider and ultimately will boost the Missouri passing game.11WSChamps wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 15:13 pmI feel the defense could be special.hangman wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 11:45 am I don't disagree with you 11.

I would like to see the Missouri rushing game be key in closing games out the old fashioned way.

Mostly focused on KU. Says the games number 1 issue is to contain Daniels.
As I said, I think Missouri's D will ultimately determine the outcome.

Above all with Pribula he was decisive and almost robotic like in carrying out his fake setting his feet and the ball is out to the target.onemizzou wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 13:04 pmMy only concern going into the season was QB. I wanted to see the confidence in working with receivers in the framework of the offense.
Yeah it was Central Arkansas but it was a good first step.
I believe we have a QB if we can keep him healthy.

You just have to look at his mechanics and footwork and see that he's the real deal. There is no "can he do it against better competition". He can.11WSChamps wrote: ↑05 Sep 2025 08:39 amAbove all with Pribula he was decisive and almost robotic like in carrying out his fake setting his feet and the ball is out to the target.onemizzou wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025 13:04 pmMy only concern going into the season was QB. Agreed. And you know one big thing I noticed on the plays featured -- Green did a fine job at LT. Good footwork and showed off his strength.Armchair QB wrote: ↑05 Sep 2025 18:13 pmGreat stuff!onemizzou wrote: ↑05 Sep 2025 17:25 pmYou just have to look at his mechanics and footwork and see that he's the real deal. Also, there is so much concern on this thread about containing Daniels. Well, the Jayturds have to worry about containing Pribula, who is a great runner and has a better supporting cast.
And Pribula looked great not just executing throws, but scanning the field and making great decisions.

Yes, Green will be fine. Everyone forgets he got thrust into that spot kind of last minute. He’ll keep getting better. I do hope our line play dominates. If we do, we win this thing by 3 TD’s. So early in the season, you just never know whose line play will be better. KU has looked really good and their QB is a handful. If our D line is not able to get off blocks, we might give up a bunch of yards.icon wrote: ↑05 Sep 2025 23:53 pmAgreed.
