I’ll be in Qualicum Beach in a few weeks. Hockey boys love BC…most humans do. It’s amazing

My oldest son was in a hockey Tournament in Vancouver, which is about as close as I've gotten to Qualicum Beach.

I lived on the island for school for 5 years. Hit me up if you need any recommendations. It’s an amazing island … it’s huge.ManitobaBlues wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 13:05 pmMy oldest son was in a hockey Tournament in Vancouver, which is about as close as I've gotten to Qualicum Beach.![]()
Enjoy your stay there, and one of these days, my wife and I will take a trip there.

Oshie apparently wants to get into broadcasting. But the person I really want to be the new Federko isn't Pronger, it's Perron when he retires. He would be actually good at it in addition to being one of our favorites. With the way they are doing the new broadcasting shuffle who knows though, not excited.

I will hit you up when we have a trip there planned which I know she wants to do. Probably next summer around solstice. There's direct flights to Victoria for relatively cheap from here. We are kayaking & exploring the sound and mountain lakes so kayaking would be of interest. Near some hiking, beautiful spots. Good places to eat or little retreat spots, etc. Not super high priced just qualitytheograce wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 13:08 pmI lived on the island for school for 5 years. I can probably help with that. I’m going to explore the island again in a few weeks and have good connections there.seattleblue wrote: ↑03 Sep 2025 14:02 pm Oshie apparently wants to get into broadcasting. Pronger sucks at broadcasting imo. He’s rough and looks out of place.
