I thought it was a good move and why in gods name would anyone have confidence in MM?
It was a good move because it actually worked, but seriously? 1 -0 in the 5th? If you trot the (child born out of wedlock) out there every 5 days, let the bum pitch!

I would have thought it was the right move even if it didn’t work Kurtz is a left handed hitter with a 1.038 OPS and 27 home runs and there was a right handed hitter on deck the cards offense is shaky too much more than 1-0 might be too much. To me it was not only a good move but a no brainer we aren’t talking about carpenter or an ace on the mound we are talking about MM who gives up home runs and can implode at anytime. And I’m not an oli fan but I give him credit when credit is due

Late in game L reliever against 3 LH hitters. I’m shocked, I tell you SHOCKED that our manager didn’t get us a favorable matchup.

It was actually a good move. Just don't see it this early in the game with the score being what it is. I guess my point is that, I didn't see it coming and it doesnt show much confidence in your starter but being MM, I honestly can't blame Oli. I was just very surprised.

Please explain to me why Herrera isn’t hitting 3 or 4 or even 5.

It’ll be interesting to see where Herrera winds up in 2026?
Corner OF? DH?? I’m sure his catching days are over.
Can he also stay healthy??
And to think....ONE poster thinks Pages is a more productive bat than Herrera??? 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

The kid can hit, for sure. I'd like to see what his numbers would be if he didn't have 2 IL stints.
