Bo Bichette

Wrapped in BoBo
I talked about Bo Bichette a couple months ago. I don’t do callout threads so that's not this but some of us seemed to wonder if Bo's down year was a sign of what's to come.
Let's recognize what a fine season he is having up there in Toronto batting .310 (.832 OPS), a league leading 176 hits, 42 doubles 17 homers 88 rbi. He definitely bounced back.
The Cardinals are surely not going to sign anyone this off-season. But if they did, Bo's hitting would translate pretty well into Busch Stadium. He wouldn't fix our power problem but he's still a pure hitter.

He also is probably setting himself up to get way overpaid by someone else, anyways. What do you guys think he gets, 6/150? More?

Edit: I think he just hit 3 more doubles as I wrote this

My guess- he gets less for years and less for dollars and stays in Toronto. You're right about the pure hitter. If he is being considered as a SS, Atlanta desperately needs a SS than can bring some offense. However, Bichette's SS days are probably numbered. A strong candidate to be moved to 2B.

Yeah I too felt he could get signed to play another position. Maybe the Giants would try to sign him as a 2B to get another bat to go with Devers and Co. in that lineup.

Why? Bichettes a great SS to have....imagine having his bat on the team.

Oh wait, JJ is probably him...but we won't play him at SS when he's finally on the team.

That would be a great fit (as would Brendan Donovan).

Hurdy can't stay healthy. Where is he anyway?

His OPS+ gets worse every year.
