North Carolina hosting TCU

Post by edwin drood »

The college coaching debut of Patriots legend Bill Belichick, the 73 year old with the 24 year old girlfriend who recently trademarked the term 'gold digger' which she intends to put on jewelry she selling...

Even though they're on the road, TCU is favored by 3.5 pts.

I'll go with UNC by 3.

Belichick is only a coaching legend because of a guy named Tom Brady. He was nothing before Brady came along.

Go, Horned Frogs.

+1
Belichick's NFL coaching record is 249-75 (.769) with Tom Brady, including six Super Bowl wins, and 84-103 (.449) without him, 0 rings.

Yea, but during Brady's career, Belichick was the de facto General Manager, meaning he surrounded Brady with the players he needed to win a buttload of Superbowl rings.

Query: Why couldn't he continue to surround the next QB with great players? Hmm.
Oh, that's right, he won 1 playoff game in the 187 games he coached w/o Brady. In the 283 games with Brady, he won 30 playoff games.
It. Was. Brady.

Because generational quarterbacks aren't available in every NFL draft?

Name the all-time great receivers Brady had. Besides the tight ends.

Gee, I guess I'd start with Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Julian Edelman for starters. I think the Patriots advantage was always balance.

Carolina getting dominated at the half. They’re very fortunate to only be down a couple TD’s. Only 4 1st downs for NC.

Woof.

27-7 TCU.

And the legend darned ran out the clock in a 2-minute drill before the first half ended. Punted on 4th and 3 with 53 seconds left, and TCU got a field goal.

34-7. 33-yard TD run untouched after a 75-yard TD run untouched.

Oof! Belichick looking like the wrong hire many said he was. Tarheel celebrities already quietly leaving. However at Chapel Hill football is something to do between men's and women's soccer and 'Midnight Madness'. Belichick should retire right after Midnight Madness. Anyone thinking UNC is the correct pick for SEC expansion needs their head examined.

41-7.

And no more shots of Michael Jordan and Roy Williams in their booth if they are still even there.

Lopez, the prized South Alabama transfer, has now scored two touchdowns for TCU. Tom Brady he is not.

Not sure Johnson should be out there - just got pole-axed. His return is a heck of a story, but geez.

No kidding. TCU should be admitted to the SEC before North Carolina.
