While a lot of Berman-isms were pretty dumb, there were some pretty creative ones:
Bernard "Innocent until proven" Gilkey
Darryl "Green Eggs &" Hamilton
Jeff Conine "The Barbarian"
Roberto "Remember the " Alomar
Jeff "See Through" Blauser
Scott "Supercalifragalisticexpliala" Brosius
Eric “Sleeping with” Bienemy
Scott “Rockin’” Rolen…ok maybe not the most creative, but as my favorite Cardinal of the time, I kind of liked it!
Ha!
Daryl "Rhubarb" Strawberry!!
And my personal favorite, Oddibe "Young Again" McDowell.
Berman was a treasure for a while, then got too full of himself, in part because ESPN got too full of itself but that's another story. People forget that before Keith Olbermann became a nasty, bitter man he was very funny as the host of SportCenter. He was the Chandler Bing of ESPN.

Oh, Eddie "Eat, Drink and be" Murray!!
Oh yeah, forgot about those! I think we might be the only ones with any appreciation for this thread though lol! Didn’t know Berman was so hated??
Can't believe Berman being hated.
What the heck did he ever do?
I thought he was a nice guy.
I never thought of him as annoying.
Steven A. Smith, another story.

Yes, I remember that one now!!
Great one.
Maybe the best.
I think he already used "I'm not a Crook" on Kruk.
So, Jimmy Crooks will have to change.

I remember him starting this in the late 80's.
I thought so anyway.
Of course, it all filtered into the 1990's.
I'll have to check when Berman started with ESPN.

Ha! Another good one I forgot about. And yes, 90’s was peak ESPN, amongst other things.
