I like Pages, and it's great seeing him hitting the [shirt] out of the ball all last month, but Crooks has to at least split time while he's here. These games are meaningless, but you'd think that they'd want to see what he can do against MLB pitching the last month of the season.

He comes up, sits two games in a row, then hits a HR in his first start, then is back on the bench. Maybe it's the the way that the schedule is playing out and he'll start more games, but Pozo is only on the 7 day IL. Are they going to just really bury Crooks when he comes back?

at 7...I don't think there was ever a scenario that both would be available. None of the teams ahead of us in the that draft gave any indications of taking HS kids like Rainier and/or Griffin......hindsight of course says Griffin "SHOULD" have taken Top 2. But that's hindsight.

Draft should've gone JJ, Kurtz, Griffin....in some sort of order.

Of course, 1 year doesn't mean it's over....probably should take 5 or so years to make that sort of declaration....but for now, we only have 1 year of data.

Kurtz and JJ were my two favorites of that draft. I love that we got 1 of them
