(and it's not the ump)
nah the ump has been pretty good today

it's mechanics.. specifically not being able to repeat them consistently. Libby has the same issue. might be something to pitching longer, and more, than you ever have in your career

Takes a fastball down the pipe and then flails after sliders.

He covered all his greatest hits.
To mix it up , JWalk should be directed to try some thing different.
Call no timeouts in at bat next at bat…eliminating more ‘thinking time’

was just thinking the same thing

and someone mentioned Crooks not being good behind the plate.. I disagree.. think he's done a pretty good job, especially with a pitcher who tends to spike his slider quite a bit. lots of spin on those

could a Gorman throw to first ever be chest high right on the bag?

looks like that is a rarity

seems to be overthinking it when he has more time to make a throw. on the others, the throws have been fine

Hope so. But the bar has dropped pretty low for C vs 10-15 years ago. Doesn't take much to be an improvement over Pages/Pozo/Hererra. Fair or not, I will always be compariing to Yadi. And this roster is going to need a prospect to really break out and exceed all expectations at an MVP level for us to get good again. Because that's how we won in the 2000's.

Singer 5 innings
no walks

de la Cruz swings extremely late and gets dinky double down third base line
