One more win and we pass Cincy
Some probably think that's a bad thing, but it puts us as the first time to miss the playoffs. Everyone in the NL over .500 would be in playoff position.
Re: One more win and we pass Cincy
One more win and the team is .500 for August.

Re: One more win and we pass Cincy
Considering our first top-10 pick in almost 30 years looks like the real deal, a repeat of July could be a beneficial way to close out the season.
Then again, JJ's proven nothing and Walker, supposedly the next big thing since Albert, looks worse by the day. So a wild finish and WC birth would be exciting, but it's gonna take an 8-2 or 12-4 stretch before I even think about the potential of maybe some day perhaps considering a little bit that I could possibly hope or think or wish or care about this flippin' team.

That's a pitiful stat for the NL. Only six of 15 teams over .500. Maybe instead of expansion, the league should consider retraction.

One more win and we get back to .500. How exciting.

No doubt, but the idiot Manfred and clueless owners won’t pass up the franchise fee pie.JuanAgosto wrote: ↑31 Aug 2025 01:35 amThat's a pitiful stat for the NL. Only six of 15 teams over .500. Maybe instead of expansion, the league should consider retraction.

For teams to be over .500 others have to be underJuanAgosto wrote: ↑31 Aug 2025 01:35 amThat's a pitiful stat for the NL. Only six of 15 teams over .500. Maybe instead of expansion, the league should consider retraction.
4 teams are within 1-2 games of .500 and could be a series against a losing team from suddenly all being over .500 clubs and there being 10 of 15 teams over. 500
Silly take.

Reds in a big time slump
Let's see if Pallante can avoid breaking them out of it (I wouldn't put any money on it though).
