As Cranny eloquently says, the DeWitt's will retain ownership so long as BDW Jr. is alive. Unless Three-Sticks obtains a personality transplant, he can no more operate the Cardinals than I have of becoming Pope.

Once BDW passes, the team will probably go up for sale. BDW3 seems to have no idea what is going on. He will take the $ haul and finance his wife's music production gig. He may buy a new head rug, and move next door to wherever his bff Mo ends up.

Cranny supposedly has some sort of contact with the F.O... for as full of feces as he is with his baseball analysis, my ears perk up when he talks about F.O. dynamics. He's pretty much the only one on here I think might have some type of inside info about what might happen.

IDK why you have terrible baseball analysis, i'd have to psychoanalyze you probably to fully understand it. That would require me caring more about it though, a lot easier to just ignore it.

Actually, it's just an opinion on your part, 3dender. But I'll compare my knowledge to your knowledge of the players in our
minor league system any day. On the major league front, I don't get involved in strategy discussions because I know I don't
have all the ongoing behind the scenes information. Have said that several times.

About the time Shannon talked about the team being sold, the DeWitts bought out one of the stake holders. Originally there were about 30+ owners with the DeWitt being the President of the corporation. I don't know how many now are owners of the team.
