Although I don’t agree with the premise I have enjoyed that some of you are clearly setting yourselves up to get ticked off about the UCA game.

Maybe we should all take a vote.
That guy is a creep.
Re: Horn no chance
If we witness Beau playing exclusively with the #1s and Sam exclusively with the #2s, the decision has already been made.
If he really was interested in a comparison, let one start the 1st quarter and the other the 2nd quarter (both with the starters) and then make a decision on who starts in the 2nd half based on their 1st half performance.

We’ll see about Horn’s injury. But heartbreaking for the kid. He could have left a few times and has stuck with it through injuries. He might just need to chalk this up to he’s meant to be a pitcher.
Re: Horn no chance
This. He is a good kid but simply can't stay healthy. He just needs to get ready to get ready for his baseball career as the Dodgers are an organization where he can move up quickly.by Armchair QB » 28 Aug 2025 20:44 pm

Re: Horn no chance
Oh I’d welcome that.
On topic, how Mizzou is the Sam Horn story thus far? Just has never had a consistent run. When he popped up early in the game I was ready to declare victory here, clearly he was meant to have a part that wasn’t just mop up duty this evening, selfish (donkey) that I am. And then boom.
Here is hoping this isn’t the end for him at Mizzou. Bowl game start after Pribula lights it up and heads to the next level?
Re: Horn no chance
I couldn't watch the game, so this is just my reaction to what I've read:
From what I read, Mizzou put Horn, known as a pure passer, in for one play in the first half to run the ball out of a wildcat formation. Horn got hit by a helmet on his knee, was later on crutches with a full leg brace, no weight on that leg. Why in the world would you use Horn to run a wildcat on a meaningless first-half play against a meaningless opponent like that? Horn wasn’t even supposed to play until the second half. sounds like a really bad idea by drink or the offensive coordinator.

Not sure when thigh and knee pads went out but but I do know I don't understand it.

Yeah I'm sure others can attest to the fact that a direct blow to even a knee pad isn't much fun but I don't want to think what would have happened if I didn't wear them back in the day.
