some good story lines that I missed last night.

Several sick beings in my house last night. Sorry for the early exit last night, but I was the lone cleanup duty and comforter

Anyways, back to the story lines.... Mason Molina finally a good start with Peoria....5 IP, 9 K, 0 R, 0 BB ....the 0 walks were most impressive. He had 11 walks, 12 strikeouts coming into last night after being traded to the Cards.

Rainiel Rodriguez hit a HR in his 3rd consecutive game...this one off the top of the wall...hard liner...and it was the 2nd in a row that the LF P.J. Morlando ATE the Wall...reckless abandon. Morlando didn't get up from this one...thus Rainiel got an easy inside-the-park HR. I thought it was over the fence, but when I looked at it this morning, it hit the wall at the same time Morlando did.

Cade Winquest defied the numbers last night...recorded a WHIP over 2.00 and still won...only allowed 3 runs. It helped that his offense woke up and destroyed Top Prospect, Gage Jump....lit him up for 9 runs in 1 1/3.

Wetherholt with another 3 hit game, including a low liner that hit Siani between 1B and 2B. The rare, runner out, batter awarded a Single play. Most of OKC's pitching staff has pitched for the Dodgers this year...so that tells you a bit about JJ's hitting future once he makes it to the BIGS.

Wetherholt is 4 HR short of a 20 Double, 20 HR, 20 SB season.
