Yep. Corey Pronmam has called it. It’s over fellas. Don’t even bother throwing the puck out onto the ice this year. Pronman has spoken.

I would imagine hockey Canada will be cutting ties with Amy today after such a scathing review, because the only guy who knows hockey better than a GM who has won multiple Olympic medals, Stanley cups, and national championships, is a beat writer from the big apple.

85% of the "Superstars of Yore" you pisz and moan about were either
UNDRAFTED or Drafted wayyy later than your Ridiculous Ideal.....

You are a broken record without any real sense.
And, you seem incapable of learning a GD thing.
Good luck with that.

Once again. You guys can just let these inane threads die without response. We might actually get somewhere if you would.

Snuggy is playing. Bolduc was playing and now Mailloux will be playing. Dvorsky is close. Carbonneau is close. That's four potential rookies playing this season or at best all by 26-27. But then you also have Stenburg, Stancl, and Lindstein. Blues don't have a can't-miss, generational talent, but they have maybe a half dozen at worst potential NHL starters within the next 2-3 seasons...I think C+ is very low, I'd go B, maybe even B+

My gut feeling, long term we are going to look back and see;

Snuggerud (top line winger)
Dvorsky (top 6 center)
Carbonneau (top 6 winger)
Stenberg (top 9 winger)
Jiricek (top 4 RHD)
Lindstein (top 4 LHD)
Kaskimaki (top 9 winger)
Ralph (NHL dman)
Fischer (NHL dman)
Stancl/Pekarcik (NHL forwards)

Mailloux is graduated, one could probably say the same for Snuggerud but hes still young

Yes, the Barbie will be dressed. It is certain that Army will dress the Barbie with the best available players.
Purse? Check! (2023 Rd 1 draft pick)
Shoes? Check! (2023 Rd 1 draft pick)

What matters is if we have better players on our roster than other teams.

Any prediction on that question?

Dang, if that happened theoretically in a 3-4 year span you have this as all draft picks not including Snuggy. That means outside of the 10m you are paying on your goalie Tandem and around 20ish mill on your drafted players during that stretch, you have almost 70m to pay for 7 other starters. obviously that includes Kyrou/Thomas/Buchy/Parayko. till 2030. That is 30m. The Blues if they hit that well are in cap HEAVEN.

According to Corey Pronman NY Times

The Blues have drafted a lot of quality forwards in recent years, led by Dalibor Dvorský and Jimmy Snuggerud. They have a solid system, but for a team that’s hanging around playoff bubble status, I’m not convinced there’s enough coming to elevate their club to the next level.

2024 ranking: 16

2025 NHL Draft grade: C+
Noted that you have made both a big deal out of the 2023 draft as some kind of failure, and Corey's draft grades as if one draft is definitive of the GM's job as a whole at all.

In 2023 Corey gave the Blues draft a B+ writing:

St. Louis Blues: B+
With three firsts, including a 10th overall, you should get players, and the Blues did. Dalibor Dvorsky is a potential top two line center for them in a few years. Otto Stenberg, Theo Lindstein, and Juraj Pekarcik all have real chances to play in the NHL too. They could get two NHL regulars from this group, maybe three.

In Corey's 2023 prospect rankings the Blues jumped from 29 to 18.

In 2022 Corey gave the Blues a draft grade of B.

The burr in your saddle, the 2024 draft, Corey gave them a B, and wrote:
St. Louis Blues: B
The Blues had a clear theme to their draft. They drafted size and skating and brought a bunch of top-end athletes into their farm system. Adam Jiricek, their first pick, looks like a top-four NHL defenseman. Ondrej Kos was trending to being a clear top-two-round pick earlier this season before he had health issues that derailed his season. Adam Jecho fell after being a touted player in recent years, but I see a path for him to the NHL. I don’t think the stat line on a lot of these prospects will excite, but I could see multiple NHL regulars coming from the Blues’ class. Matvei Korotky has a lot of potential as a seventh-round pick, too, with how well he played in the MHL playoffs.

You don't actually agree with Pronman. You just like that you think he somewhat supported your messianic campaign, despite the fact that you misrepresented what he most recently wrote.

You know who doesn't say much about our 3 2023 Round 1 prospects? Douglas Army. That alone should tell you everything.

Face it. The 3 Round 1 selections may make our Blues roster, but they are all average NHL players, at best. That is not what I wanted. That is not what the Blues need.
