I know I continually harp on this but who the heck is teaching these players to stand up as straight as they can when the pitch is being made? Look at all of the best hitters in MLB. You'll see them all with pelvic tilt that turns into lateral tilt. For our hitters who stand straight up, they have to cheat with their arms and disconnect in order to get the barrel to the ball. That leads to a lot of swing and miss.
