Blues on National TV 14 Times!
And to think....we are getting all of this attention without having any super stars or top 5 picks.
Shocking.
I'm sure one idiot will blame Army for all these games on TV....They will provide a distraction for people and take away the attention of his mediocre job and C+ off season.
Too funny!
14 Games. Says a lot about our fan base as well as how good the product on the ice is predicted to be.
Well deserved IMO.

Actually, not the best, but close. Actually, people will be tuning in to see what could be Sundqvist's last year with the Blues.BalotelliMassive wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025 13:42 pm To be fair....for three of those games people will be just tuning in to see team USA superstar Frank Nazer....![]()

1 game in October
1 game in November
1 game in December
3 games in January
1 game in February
7 games when the regular season is over. This is Army's "killing season". The team starts hitting everything moving in golf carts at this time of year.
Makes sense that they would show the1 team still trying to win meaningless games, purposefully killing their own draft position.
Last year, Florida lost 7 of their last 10 regular season games. They don't want to show those types of teams.

Kind of weird to be worried about draft position when the Blues will be in the 2026 playoffs.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025 14:34 pm 1 game in October

In the last 20 years, the Blues have the best record in March of all NHL teams. Kinda weird that they are so good late in the season, every year. The pattern is so predictable that the TV networks know that they can bet on it.Stlcardsblues wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025 17:37 pmKind of weird to be worried about draft position when the Blues will be in the 2026 playoffs.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025 14:34 pm 1 game in October

I guess happy for the Blues but I far and away prefer home broadcasts. Hope that holds true with Kerbs and his not funny comedian sidekick.
I do like the tnt intermission guys though.

This isn't a positive IMO. It usually or perhaps always results in the loss of a local feed. Most of the broadcast teams are (bleep). Minor additional gripe, but if it's not on FD I have to hunt around for the channel. And by choice I don't have DVR. So if it's on national tv and I miss it...then I've missed it. With FD I have a chance to turn it on late and start from the beginning.Bubble4427 wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025 13:12 pm And to think....we are getting all of this attention without having any super stars or top 5 picks.

Entering the playoffs with a strong March/April is a positive. Why would you want to enter the playoffs this year with the team struggling?a smell of green grass wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025 17:53 pmIn the last 20 years, the Blues have the best record in March of all NHL teams. Playing well in March/April in one year is good. Two years is even better.Stlcardsblues wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025 20:05 pmEntering the playoffs with a strong March/April is a positive. Doing so for 20 years tells me that there is a side agenda playing out for the Blues and the rest of the NHL.
I think it has something to do with Army's creed that the Blues will "stay competitive".
I think that it also has something to do with the Blues not drafting in the TOP 5 in 16 years, and only once in the TOP 10 since then.
I smell pro wrestling, and I don't like it.
