I think if there's any embarrassment, it's on WC.
The club didn't embarrass until they didn't tell him
it wasn't acceptable behavior and put him in the lineup the next day.

I think he embarrassed the shirt….all that video being shown everywhere has “Cardinals “ on the front…

I am waiting to see if the club shows this behavior is not acceptable by one of their employees and adds their own punitive measures to what MLb eventually settles on…

I was surprised he played the next day as well.
Fake outrage.

Yes…..being suspended is an excellent way of showing he cares about the season…
You act like it was premeditated. The ump mistakenly thought he said something he didn't say and escalated the situation. Contreras only turned back to the ump after the ump said something.
